A LITTLE HELP DECIDING

A random choice wheel for everyday decisions

Put the options you would genuinely be happy with on the wheel, then let a spin settle the choice. These instructions describe the main wheel, which supports 2–200 entries.

How to use it

  1. Choose a preset or paste 2–200 entries, separated by new lines, commas, semicolons, or tabs. Check the full entry list before spinning. Put labels containing separators in double quotes.
  2. Select SPIN in the center of the wheel. The result appears below it when the spin finishes.
  3. Choose Spin again to keep every entry, or Remove this entry to take that entry out before the next spin.

Ideas to try

  • Choose a group activity

Try board games, a movie, a walk, and a trivia night. Agree on the options together before spinning.

  • Set a presentation order

Add each presenter's name once. Remove each winner after their turn to work through the list.

Common questions

How is Classic mode different?

Classic mode is a separate editor with saved lists and voice input. It supports up to 50 choices and uses a Remove winner control. Return to Playground to use the main 200-entry wheel described here.

Does every entry have the same chance?

Yes. Each entry has an equal chance on each spin. The picker uses your browser's cryptographic random-number generator and rejects values that would bias the result. Repeated labels count as separate entries, so a label added twice has twice the chance of a label added once.

Can the same choice win again?

Yes, if you keep it on the wheel. Remove this entry deletes one winning entry. If that label appears elsewhere in the list, those other entries can still win.

Which tool should I use for names or dinner?

This wheel works with any short list. The Random Name Picker tracks picked entries within a round, while the Dinner Picker offers meal ideas with time, budget, cuisine, and dietary-style filters.
