Who we are
In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Hanli Pacific LLC, the owner and operator of PickLark. You can reach us through our contact form.
Information you enter
Names, choices, watchlists, meal preferences, and other entries are processed in your browser to produce a result. PickLark does not intentionally send those entries to our servers.
Contact inquiries
When the inquiry form is enabled, your name, email address, selected topic, and message are sent to Hanli Pacific LLC through Resend for responding to your request. Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical information, including your IP address, to check for automated abuse. We keep time-limited submission counters using a keyed hash of your IP address, rather than storing the raw address in those counters. On Vercel, Upstash Redis stores these counters with automatic expiration within two days. The Sites test environment removes expired counters during subsequent submissions. We do not store inquiry messages in the site database or use them to subscribe you to marketing. Inquiries remain in our email system as needed to respond and handle follow-up; contact us to request deletion, subject to applicable obligations.
Optional voice input
If you choose voice dictation, your browser requests microphone permission and converts speech into editable text. Depending on your browser, audio may be sent to its speech recognition provider under that provider’s terms and privacy policy. PickLark does not receive, record, or store the audio. Dictated text is added to your list in your browser and is handled like typed choices. You can stop dictation at any time and revoke microphone permission in your browser’s site settings.
Information stored on your device
PickLark may use browser storage to remember your theme, saved tools, recent choices, favorites, and tool settings. You can remove this information by clearing site data in your browser.
Analytics and advertising
Optional Google analytics and advertising technologies stay off unless you make an affirmative choice. If enabled, Google may receive technical information such as browser and device type, approximate location, pages viewed, and advertising identifiers under its own terms and privacy policies.
Cookies and privacy choices
Use the PickLark privacy panel to allow or reject analytics and advertising separately. You can reopen “Privacy choices” in the footer to change or withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent reloads the page and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies associated with this site.
California privacy notice
Depending on how advertising is configured, disclosing identifiers to an advertising partner may be treated as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. PickLark does not load its optional advertising technology unless you affirmatively allow it. Contact us to ask about applicable access, deletion, correction, or opt-out rights.
Children
PickLark is a general-audience decision-tool site. We do not knowingly ask children to create accounts or submit personal information. A parent or guardian should supervise a child’s use of any list that contains identifying information.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell the contents of your decision lists. Technical records may be retained for security, reliability, analytics, or legal obligations for only as long as reasonably necessary.
Changes and questions
We may update this policy as PickLark grows. Questions can be sent through the Contact page.
